The Oak Crest Music Committee is a community of families supporting student musicians at Oak Crest Middle School through volunteer efforts and fundraising. We help organize and coordinate many music events and performances throughout the year. Our Music Board Meets monthly and we welcome you to join us!
Many essential elements of the music program are not funded by the school district, so the Committee provides support in the following areas:
Providing hospitality and promoting community to Oak Crest students and families at music activities and events
Raising funds to pay our guest artists for weekly in-class sessions
Purchase and repair instruments for Oak Crest students
Purchase sheet music, method books, and instrument supplies for the band program
Helping the Music Director organize performance events throughout the year
Assisting the Music Director with communications to music families
We are a committee of the Oak Crest Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Your contributions are used directly for Oak Crest students and programs.
